AIDSWatch 2026

Despite travel delays, AIDSWatch 2026 reinforced what we know about advocacy is about showing up and staying on course. Nearly 600 advocates from 42 states and territories met with close to 250 Congressional offices to advance priorities impacting people living with HIV.

Tommy Calloway, our Community Relations Manager and Lobbyist, served as State Coordinator for Nebraska alongside Board Member Steve Jackson. Together, they met with Nebraska’s federal delegation to advocate for continued funding for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program and Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA).

These conversations help shape the FY27 federal budget. Advocacy works because we show up, speak out, and keep pushing forward.
